Creation Process
1. Base Coat:
o Applied a base coat of gesso to prepare the canvas.
2. Sketching:
o Outlined the mountain scene with a detailed pencil sketch, focusing on the
pathway and peaks.
3. Texture Application:
o Added layers of texture paste to create depth and projections, particularly on the mountain peaks for a slightly projected feel.
4. Road Texture:
o Mixed real fine grain and rough sand granules with paint medium.
o Applied this mixture to the pathway area, achieving a realistic sand texture.
5. Painting:
o Selected colors based on the room’s interior decor.
o Painted the artwork in neutral dull orange tones and half white, ensuring it
harmonizes with the surrounding space.
6. Final Touches:
o Inspected and refined the textured areas and color application to ensure a cohesive and polished finish.
